Welcome to the Web Site of the award winning Rotary Club of Simi Sunrise! 

Named once again the best large club of District 5240 for the 2008/09 Rotary year, our club (now in its 24th year of existence) is very busy working on a number of projects and programs.  Each of our club members, approximately 125 strong, are  involved in making our community a better place through their actions.  The Rotary Club of Simi Sunrise is part of Rotary International which has over 1.2 million members with 33,000 clubs worldwide.  We are a group of Business owners and executives dedicated to “Service Above Self”

Our members have been involved in many projects touching lives locally and throughout all parts of the world including helping to provide a computer lab for a school for disabled children in Lima, Peru;  helping to provide 10 water tanks to supply clean drinking water to small villages surrounding Dickoya, Sri Lanka; helping to  provide 550 wheelchairs to disabled individuals living in remote areas in Bangladesh, India, Peru, Iraq, Afghanistan, and Zambia just to name a few; helping to provide pure drinking water to the fisherman community of Pallithottam in Kollam Beach, India; supported the troops by adopting a US infantryman in Iraq;  funded and remodeled the Simi Valley Library Community Room; ran our annual “Thanksgiving Dinner for Seniors” at the Simi Valley Senior Center;  feed the homeless of Simi Valley one evening a month and many, many more.

Our club meets every Thursday morning, 7:10 am at the Grand Vista Hotel located at 999 Enchanted Way in Simi Valley.  If you're ever around on Thursday morning and want to visit our club give us a call as we would love to show you true Rotarian hospitality!
